We had a wonderful Easter! We got up early and went to Mass and then came home and Isha got her Easter basket. She was very excited about the candy!!!
Isha had fun checking out everything in her basket.
Of course she was itching to get into the candy. It is really cute the was she says M&M. It is so cute that I can't resist her!
After checking out all of her goodies in her basket we headed outside to hunt for eggs. She had a good time looking for eggs and eating the jelly beans that they were filled with. After egg hunting we headed downtown for some breakfast. We went to The Black Sheep and had a amazing breakfast! Jai works with one of the owners, so it was nice to go and support them.
After breakfast we went to Easter on Parade on Monument Avenue. We had fun taking in all of the sights. The cute dogs, crazy Easter bonnets and all the front yards decorated for Easter. We also spent a few minutes watching a puppet show that Isha really enjoyed.
After all the eating and walking around we came home for a much needed nap and then we had a yummy Easter dinner.Today we went to get some spring pictures, which I had hoped to post here, but unfortunately Isha didn't cooperate so we will have to try again. She looked so cute in her pretty spring dress, but after all the crying and screaming it was obvious that it just wasn't going to happen. Keep your fingers crossed that next time is better so that you can all get your pictures.
