A Visit With Louis and Linda

We went to visit with Louis and Linda this week (they are the parent's of our neighbor Laura). Isha loves Louis and she is always asking when she can go see him.

He took her for a ride on the "tractor" and I thought that Isha would love it because she is obsessed with tractors, but she wasn't that impressed. When they came riding around the corner she was holding on to Louis for dear life and was pouting and crying. Eventually she relaxed a little, but she is still tell me that she doesn't like the tractor.
She also got to hold Petey, the bearded dragon.
Petey was a pretty good sport about the whole thing. Isha is a little rough with her and the high pitched squealing had to be a little stressful for poor Petey!!
Isha spent about an hour hanging out in the yard with Louis. She had a good time picking up pine cones and checking out all the birds and squirrels. She even saw a family of dear go running through the neighbors front yard!
Thanks for letting us come over and play Louis and Linda!!!

Summer Camp

Isha just finished a week of summer camp at her preschool and she absolutely loved it! Every morning started with outside play time in the pool and sprinkler. Isha loved playing on the swing and slide. She also did lots of painting on the big sheets of paper they hung up on the fence. After playing outside the kids would head inside to eat lunch, play and do art projects. I have a very cute watermelon picture on my fridge complete with Isha's fingerprints as seeds and a lovely sunflower she painted. She did great all on her own!!! She was very brave and she made lots of friends. She really liked her teachers and she told me all about her day when I went to pick her up. It was so strange because the first afternoon I picked her up I felt like I was picking up a different kid. I had dropped off my baby and here was this independent and grown up little toddler that I was picking up. I am glad she went because now I feel more comfortable about her going to preschool this fall. I know that she is going to love school and is going to do just fine!!! I also had an OB appointment today and everything looks great. Diya is growing just fine and she is getting read to make her entrance. I am hoping she might decide to come a little early because I am so excited to meet her!

Picture Success

Yesterday Isha and I went to have pictures taken and it was much better than the last trip. There was no crying and we had lots of great shots to choose from. I only have 1 or 2 pictures of me when I was pregnant with Isha because I thought that I was to fat. I decided that this time around I was going to take some pictures of me pregnant. I want to be able to look back on them and be able to share them with my girls. I love how this picture turned out. It is so sweet how Isha already loves Diya. I can't wait for her to finally get to meet her little sister. I love this picture. You can't see her beautiful eyes, but I love how sweet she looks. If only she acted this sweet all the time!

And here is her great big smile and pretty brown eyes! Our funny, spunky, naughty, sweet, beautiful and loving two year old (well, 2 1/2 year old now)!
