More Pony Tails

The pony tails are back by popular demand. They looked so cute the other day that I had to try it again. The only problem is that her hair is a disaster today. After I took them out last night she looked like wolverine from X-Men. I should have taken a picture but I was lazy. SorryYesterday was miserably hot again. Luckily the weather is supposed to be nicer this weekend. I am anxious to get out of the house. The heat has kept us hostage in the house. We did go swimming on Wednesday and that was a lot of fun. Once again I should have taken pictures, but didn't. Last night we had a gigantic thunder storm. It lasted for hours. The thunder and lightning was amazing. We also got lots of rain which was nice. I was amazed that Isha slept through the whole thing. At one point the thunder was so loud I seriously thought that our neighbors house had exploded. I was sure it would wake Isha up, but she was OUT. I guess it is good that we have such a good sleeper. Isha is doing great at sitting up on her own. It makes playing much easier and a lot more fun!

We had a similar storm experience, but as it turns out, the tree in the back yard was hit by lightning. Mandy freaked, we spent the night at the in-laws house, and I got no sleep.

We should have just come to Isha's room...it was obviously more comfortable there.

Does the cuteness ever end?!!!

I loved the thunder storms when we were in Arkansas. The thing I didn't like was when the sky turned green the the tree limbs started bending and touching the ground. Not my favorite. But rain...love it. At least for a little while.

Eric, we had a tree hit by lightning once. My husband was in the backyard about 10 feet away. I don't know how he didn't get struck. The lightning stripped the bark off of two sides of the tree and it was dead as a doornail by the next summer. A massive, huge tree gone in seconds. It was crazy.

I agree with Auntie Sara - such a doll! I miss those good Virginia thunderstorms! We just get the drizzle here in the Pacific Northwest...
