Washington DC

Last weekend we went up to DC for a little get away. It was lots of fun, but I think we must have walked 100 miles at least. I was sore for two days after we got home. We took Isha to the Natural History Museum. We also relaxed in a beautiful garden for awhile until we realized we were being eaten alive by mosquitoes. Isha enjoyed stretching her legs. She is not a big fan of the stroller.

We got up Saturday morning and went to the National Zoo. The orangutans are allowed to swing all over the top of everyone. It is amazing to see them just hanging out right above your head. We sat and watched the cute Spectacle Bear for a little bit. Here is Isha kissing the panda statue. We didn't have much luck with the pandas. We saw one of them sleeping in the glassed in room. Last time we went we saw them playing in the trees which was cute. Daddy took Isha for a ride on the carousel. She had a great time, bet she screamed and cried when it was time to get off.

WOW!! Looks like a great DC weekend!!!

I am so bummed that you were here and my stupid busyness and cavern of teaching that has sucked me in and turned me into an awful friend kept me from catching up with you. I can't tell you how much I am really disliking work right now.

I am hoping to see you today....a glimmer of hope. -S
