Last night we went to a Diwali (you can check out this link to see what Diwali is all about) party at our neighbors house. It was fun getting Isha all dressed up in her little Indian dress and seeing all the other little kids dressed up so pretty.
Here are Shreya and Deeya all dressed up for the party they are hosting. There was lots of dancing, visiting, and great South Indian food. We had a great time and we met lots of new friends.

Isha was doing double duty, dancing and mowing the floor. She had a blast dancing and running around playing with all the other kids.

I was wondering if you would enjoy a Diwali celebration. I learned about Diwali when I subbed in the first grade at ATS 2 years ago...it was our first winter holiday that we introduced to the kids. They also had some nice segments about Diwali on NPR this year. Looks like fun! And Ish looks darling, as usual! -S
