Isha spends time with Punum and Gogo

Punum and Gogo game down to see Isha. They just loved her cute face and the fact that it was nap time. Isha said thanks for holding her while her mom and dad got a chance to relax. Thanks again.

Isha spends time with more friends

Isha got to meet my parent's close friends. They just love seeing Isha and can't believe I have a child. The look on Sunny's face is of "are you for real". I asked the same question and finally in the last week came to the realization that I have a daughter. Just kidding. Look at her, she looks just like me. God help her.

Eric "the next Senator" kissing and holding babies

Eric practices with Isha, preparing to be the next Senator of any state that would have him. I guess he would do great in the south since in his blog he claims to have many "white trash" moments. Just kidding. We love you man!!! By the way, Isha does too!!!

Isha with her Grandma and Grandpa Oberoi

Isha finally had some time to spend with her Grandma and Grandpa Oberoi. She feels so good that it was nap time. Now why can't that happen to us especially during the night? Well, it does but 9 out of 10 times her bottom makes a noise like your lips fluttering. You know what that means, it's time to change the diaper. At least Isha doesn't need to have her diaper on for a long trip to scare someone (i.e. NASA people).
Let me get back to my parents and how much fun they had with Isha. This is their first granddaughter so now they have both (Stephen and Isha). Isha says, "I love you Grandpa and Grandma".

Isha and Ann Hartley

Eric and Mandy stopped by with baby Ann Hartley. It was great for the girls to meet each other. Jai and I have learned a lot about the life of new parents from the Millers. We read their blog but just didn't believe it could be true or we hoped it wouldn't happen to us. Despite hoping it would be different for us the Millers were right. Babies are poop machines to an extent we just couldn't imagine and a full night of sleep is something of the past. It has been a lot of fun sharing this experience with Eric and Mandy and they have been a great source of information and amusement. We are still laughing about the white trash week.

Moms first attempt at blogging

This is my first attempt at posting something on the blog. I am technology challenged, but you will find that I spell better than Jai does. This pooh outfit was the very first gift Isha received. Adri dropped it off a few days after I found out I was pregnant. I am going to brag because I can't help it. Isn't she adorable.

Isha takes a picture with her "Honey Bear"

Isha points at her "Honey Bear" friend that Grandpa Jack sent her. She loves her new best friend and can't wait to see her Grandpa Jack to thank him. Isha says, "thank you Grandpa Jack for thinking of me and I just love Honey Bear". She also said, "please send him lots of hugs and kisses from me".

More friends stop by to visit with Isha

Isha is very popular. She had more friends stop by to see her and hold her cute self. Tommy and Stephanie came by and I think this is the first time he's held a baby. Looks like a natural. Dude you're so getting lucky tonight, just look at Stephanie's face.
Trish came to see if Isha really did have all that hair and to confirm that she did look like my baby. We have confirmation from multiple friends and family now that this cute girl is mine (might have her mothers looks but none the less, she is still mine). Trish can't believe that I'm a father now since she knows how I act (like a child). She says, good luck Isha, you're going to need it. Also, don't let daddy play with all your toys, just tell him NO.

My two girls sleeping

Jen and Isha spend some quality time together sleeping. They look so cute together. I wish I was sleeping too (really). Enjoy the time you get because she won't be this cute for long. NOT!!!!!!

The Birthday Boy

Adam had his 29th Birthday with Isha. It looks like we have two kids in the house (well a lot more since all the guys are like 5 years old). This is one of the Hartley Village Princess and now you know why. Just kidding!!

Belly button falls off

Belly button falls off and Isha feels great. I have saved the calamari looking left overs for when she grows up. At that time I can truly prove to her that her cord was cut. I hope it helps her become more independent and appreciate her father. This should get me a sports car one day. NOT!!!

The cute little girl is playing tricks on us

Mom and Isha looking great. Looks like a good hair day. You would think that this cute little girl was resting well let me tell you what she's doing. She's pondering on how to get mom and dad. What do you mean , you ask?
Isha is thinking of how to trick mom and dad into believing that she's done pooping when in reality she's not. A couple of days ago, I was on the phone with Laura (she was at the house helping Jen) because Jen was changing Isha's diaper when all of sudden I heard laughter. Well, Isha just pooped on Jen's hand while she was putting a new diaper on.
You would think I would have learned from that, well, it happened to me too. However, mine was a shooter with no diaper in sight. I'm so glad it wasn't a "Baby Ruth" and the trajectory was low. Result was that Isha got a bath but next time, just grunt and we'll give you a bath.

Pay back will be sweet when I grow up

Isha's going to get me back for this when she grows up. She's probably going to get some whipped cream and put it in my hand when I'm a sleep and wake me up so I'll smack my face with it. Well, I just want you to know that I'm on to your little plan girl. Remember, your dad is a little kid too so he'll act just the way you do. The only thing mom could hope for is that when you grow up, maybe (God hopes) your dad will too.
Well, for those that want to know a bit more about what the name Isha means, my bro has discovered some interesting point of view at this website. Please take a look.

Aunt Tony and the girls get to know Isha

Tony and the girls stopped by to see the newest addition to the Oberoi family. They brought gifts and lots of love. Tony has three girls so she really understands my pain. I have her on speed dial.

Flowers for Isha

Isha received pink roses from Marie, Virgina Tech color flowers from Adam and Laura, and a beautiful plant from Jen's work. Thank you all for giving Isha beautiful gifts so early in her life (setting the bar very high). Now, she's going to expect these things during her stay at the Oberoi residence. I'm going to be so broke, maybe I should go on that commercial with the guy riding a lawnmower and saying, "I'm in debt to my eye brows, someone please help me". Just kidding. Got love humor.

Big brother watches over little sister

Stitch lays beside Isha and keeps an eye on her. He's always there for her when she's crying but knows to step away when she's feeding (smart boy). I think have the same feeding and sleeping habits. They both want as much food as possible and will fuss over it until they get something. As for sleeping, they do that when ever they want (must be nice).

First Boise State wins and now the birth of my first grandchild

Grandma Louise is so happy to see her granddaughter for the first time that she doesn't wait to sit down. She needs to love Isha right away. Now, that's love. Having two great things happen to someone from Idaho is awesome!! The birth of her first grandchild and Boise State winning the Fiesta Bowl in over time with an amazing call for two points. What more can Grandma ask for.

Isha trying to get some pants

Isha shows off her leg like she needs a ride or something. Why you trying to run away little girl. Not trying dad, just letting you know that I need some pants (Donna Karan would be nice).

Let the bankroll begin.

Smile girl, Smile

Baby Isha smiles because she knows that her daddy and mommy love her very much. She dreams of playing with Stitch (dog) and eating that great food one day.

Virgina Tech is in the house

Louis and Linda stopped by to hold the baby and bring her endorsements (Virgina Tech). Every time she wears this or any other Virginia Tech stuff, I'll be collecting $5 for her college fund. So, she'll be wearing this everyday until she can't fit into it anymore. Papa needs a new sports car. Start earning your keep girl. Just kidding. Daddy will give you the world as long as you love him and behave. Louis and Linda, thank you both for stopping by and sharing in our joy. You have embraced us as your friends and we totally appreciate it and look forward to seeing you more.

The food is so good that Mom and baby need to nap

Mom and baby girl sit by the fire and take a nap. Where's dad you may ask, eating the great food that our awesome friends have brought for us. Laura and Adam came over with some awesome stuffed shells, salad, bread, and cake. Laura made the cake and the shells. She's a keeper Adam.

Shirley and Brooks brought over some sparkling cider, bread, caramelized chicken, and salad. Haven't tried this yet but looking forward to it. Just great friends.

Michelle and Mike came over with some great Chicken Cordon blue, salad, rice with broccoli, and cookies. I like cookies. Michelle also watched Isha while we ate (changed a diaper or two while she was here). She's a keeper Mike.

Now if you all haven't had a 100lb lasagna, you need to try Karina's. Karina and James came over with the best lasagna I've ever tasted (mom, yours is still the best but this comes in very close). Not only did they bring lasagna, but salad, bread, and more girts for Isha. She's going to be so spoiled. Please keep the food coming, I need to gain 100lbs to be a sumo wrestler (getting close).

Seriously, thank you all for your thoughts, gifts, and love that the Oberoi family has received during this time of happiness. We could not have asked for better friends in this life time. Thank you all. (Eric and Mandy, I haven't forgotten about you guys and the calls you two make asking if we need help every day.) Thanks you.

Mom and daughter looking great

Mom and Isha look great and smell great. Don't let the great looks fool you, these two girls are strong and ready to take on the world. Jen by giving birth and Isha by being born. God bless women for their gift of birth. If guys had to do this, they would just go to the bar and say "not tonight honey, I have a headache".

Isha's first bath at home

Baby Isha gets her first bath at home. She's like, "dad don't, I still have a lot more poops to make before you should give me a bath". Dad doesn't listen and mom helps to pull off a great hair day. It's all about the hair. All the new boys born this year or with in the last 2 years out there, step off, that's my little girl.

The poop machine is here

You would look at this cute little girl and think she's so great. What do you know. She's a poop machine. Isha could put GM out of business if they were producing poop. She has the market on this and sleeps well at night knowing that someone will clean her up because they can't handle the smell. Sometimes Isha let's one slip but tricks her parents so that she'll get a new diaper just in case and loves to see the look on their faces. I love you Mom and Dad.

Isha with James and Karina

James and Karina stopped by with some food for Jai and met Isha for the first time. James is known for his Prada glasses and jumping out of cakes yet seen here for the first time holding a little sweet girl. Isha looks at Karina and says "make sure you teach me how to make great desserts when I grow up because Mom and Dad just love to eat a lot of sweet stuff.

Isha meets more of Hartley Village and one of it's Princesses

Mike and Michelle came over with some food that I love and met Isha for the first time. Michelle, bless her heart, baby sat while I worked and Jen ate some food. Then Mike brought over some cookies that I love (getting the theme). So, the message is if you want to see Isha, you better bring some food for Jai.

Isha meets more great neighbors

Marie stopped by to see her new little neighbor and brought over Isha's first bouquet of pink roses. If women are bringing over these great gifts, I will have to "get pumped up" for the guys in her life. Any new baby boy reading this better step off or get kicked to the curb by her daddy.

Papa and his little girl

Here's big papa with his little girl. She just loves to lay on his chest and put her head against his double chin. He doesn't know what he's in for. Enjoy the times Jai because they will turn and she will take you to the bank.

Mom and Baby - what Love and Joy

Mom is so happy holding her new daughter. She just loves Isha and isn't afraid to show it. Isha loves to be held by her mother.

Isha meets more of her new friends

Isha meets Adri for the first time. Adri is planning something, you can just tell by the look on her face. Everyone, keep an eye on this one.

Isha knows she's "PHAT"

She is so cute. We did not realize what a wonderful gift Isha is to our new family. Let's hope Stitch will love her like we do (as long as he gets fed, wait that's Jai too).

Hospital Picture of Isha

Isha is "PHAT" and she knows it. She says, "Whaz-up people". Let's all say hi.
